Purple shade of beauty

My buddy, who possesses a green thumb and springtime eyes, is a purple-shaded beauty who can weather life’s storms and bloom like a spring flower. Her inner light blinds those who stop to view it, and her body and spirit are all beautifully colored. Thanks to this buddy of mine, spring flowers and butterflies come to life in my imagination. She has roots herself within my heart and enhanced my life in many ways with her purple tones of beauty.

Growing up can be very scary and unpredictable

I’m growing older now, not a child anymore, not an adult yet, just a girl striving to build a name for herself. I’m learning to make my own decisions, shaping my future with my own hands, and learning to take risks even when the going gets tough. I no longer need your close embrace; instead, I want for independence that will allow me to satisfy my hunger for this world and all of its nuanced meanings. Nevertheless, occasionally I stumble as I try to process what’s going on around me.
Overwhelmed by the greater picture—the impending maturity. It must be difficult for you to acknowledge that I’m creating a life for myself, making errors that you can’t fix, and making decisions you never would have imagined I’d make.

We don’t need to know everything

We were love, or love was suddenly remembering us, in the same manner that two lines cross and the closest need that you are unaware of appears in your life. The way that two people might unexpectedly cut through one evening to uncover another evening in an other universe. The manner that all we need to do is wish to let everyone know who we are; we don’t need to know everything.
